Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: August 22, 2026

We want families to understand how BloxSchool’s weekly billing, cancellations, pauses, missed classes and refunds work before enrolling.

Weekly Subscriptions

Unless otherwise stated on the class page, ongoing BloxSchool classes are billed as weekly subscriptions.

Your first payment is charged when you enroll. Your payment method will continue to be charged automatically each week while your subscription remains active.

Your child’s enrollment continues until the subscription is paused or canceled.

Canceling Your Enrollment

You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future renewals.

After enrolling, you will receive a secure Manage Subscription link by email. Use this link to manage or cancel your subscription.

Canceling does not automatically refund a payment that has already been made.

24-Hour Refund Policy

You may request a full refund when you cancel:

within 24 hours of the applicable charge and before the class covered by that payment has begun.

If a class is scheduled to begin within 24 hours of enrollment or payment, cancellation must occur before the class begins to qualify for a refund.

Once the class has begun or more than 24 hours have passed since the applicable charge, the payment is generally non-refundable.

Canceling outside the refund window stops applicable future renewals but does not automatically refund the most recent payment.

This is modeled closely on Outschool’s current recurring-class refund framework, which generally provides a refund when cancellation occurs within 24 hours of enrollment or recurring renewal, provided the applicable class hasn’t begun.

Pausing a Weekly Subscription

Eligible weekly subscriptions may be temporarily paused through the secure Manage Subscription link provided after enrollment.

Billing is temporarily suspended for the selected pause period and automatically resumes afterward unless the subscription is canceled.

While an enrollment is paused through BloxSchool’s subscription-management system, the student’s current class seat remains reserved.

Missed Classes

Missing a class does not automatically pause or cancel a subscription.

Because the student’s seat was reserved and an instructor was available to teach the class, refunds are generally not provided for classes missed by the student.

Families should pause or cancel their subscription in advance when they know the student will not continue attending.

If BloxSchool Cancels a Class

If BloxSchool cancels a paid class meeting and cannot provide the scheduled class, BloxSchool will provide an appropriate rescheduled meeting, credit, replacement meeting, or refund.

Families will not be expected to pay for a class BloxSchool does not provide.

Instructor Changes

BloxSchool may occasionally use another qualified BloxSchool instructor when the regularly scheduled instructor is unavailable.

A reasonable instructor substitution does not, by itself, constitute a canceled class.

Technical Problems

Families are responsible for having the equipment, software, accounts and internet connection described on the applicable class page.

Refunds are generally not provided for technical problems on the student’s side, including incompatible equipment, inability to access a third-party account, internet problems, or failure to install clearly required software.

If a significant technical problem on BloxSchool’s side prevents us from providing the class, we will work with affected families to provide an appropriate replacement, credit or refund.

Billing Problems

If you believe you were charged incorrectly or experience a problem managing your subscription, please contact BloxSchool rather than initiating a payment dispute so that we have an opportunity to investigate and correct the problem.

This does not limit any rights you may have through your payment provider or applicable law.

Refund Requests

If you believe you qualify for a refund or believe a charge was made in error, please use our Contact page.

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method. The time required for the refund to appear after it is issued may depend on the payment processor and financial institution.
